MOLLY’S RETREAT 2024 INFO

Last year the retreat was so much fun for everyone.  So Molly is planning another retreat. The dates are: January 11th-14th (Thursday afternoon - Sunday 1 pm).

Quilts & Lace will be doing a Pop-Up shop at the conference center, again this year.

Molly is planning 2 projects to be worked on during this FUNTASTIC event.  Molly is still working on the ORIGINAL projects.  There will be choices.

As you can see, I have been very busy working on projects for the next FUNTASTIC retreat. I sure do hope you like these new original creations.  These are exclusive to this retreat.

Project #1:   Bird House featuring a thread painted bird, chickadee.  (Molly  will also teach you how to make the bird.). Or if you prefer to make a bird using your embroidery unit to make a bird -perhaps a cardinal, or maybe you would prefer to appliqué a bird, etc.

PROJECT #1 CHOICE:

BEACH SCENE

Project #2: this project has pieced borders.  You will choose the centers. You will have a choice of which you may want to do:  a Christmas Teddy Bear, a Butterfly with Flowers, Panda Bear, Koala Bear, Flamingos (this one is a panel) or you may use another panel of your choice.

 

Project #2: This is the pieced border that will be used on the choices for this project. Fabrics will depend on the theme your choice for the center.

This is the flamingos.....it is a panel.   

This is the Butterfly with flowers.  It has been quilted. 

This is the Christmas Teddy.  It has been quilted. 

This is the Koala Bear.  

This is the Panda Bear.

If you prefer to use a panel of your choice, that would be perfectly ok. 

Cost is only #210 pp.  it includes the patterns of your choice for the 2 projects, 6 meals (breakfasts, lunch, and Meet & Greet.  Dinners on your own. Hotel has a restaurant .  Many restaurants nearby.  There will be raffles and a couple of very fun games…LOTS OF FUN!

Hotel:  register directly with hotel.  Be sure to mention Molly’s Retreat to get the reduced costs.  Room costs are:  $109 per night per room plus tax.  

Registration will be open to previous attendees on May 15.  Other registrations are due August 15.  A non-refundable deposit of $60 is due with registration form.  Balance of $150 is due by October 15.
